[Kwg-list] 5K Fun Run Registration Update

Hello Everyone,

We are EXCITED about the upcoming 5K Fun Run - Think Globally, Run Locally
scheduled for *Sunday, September 20th.  *I'd like to remind you that if you
haven't already done so, you can now REGISTER ONLINE for this event at
www.kenyaworkinggroup.org.   The run is also being supported by the Running
Room who has agreed to add the event to their calendar of races and to
coordinate our on-line registration process.

Several of KWG members went to the Kortright Centre this past weekend to
scout out the route we will be taking.  Due to the large amounts of rain and
the storms that have taken place in the area recently a careful assessment
of the area needed to be made in order for to ensure an enjoyable run for
all.

Please be advised that there has been some erosion on the trails and that
appropriate trail running footwear should be worn for your safety.   The
trails are lush and gorgeous and with any luck we may be able to spot some
of the wildlife during our run as deer are frequently found in the forest.
